Day 1: Arrival to Ha Noi
On arrival at Noi Bai international airport, the local tour guide and driver welcome and pick you up, then transfer to your hotel in the city center. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Ha Noi – Lao Cai ( B / L/ -)
Breakfast at hotel. Begin the trip by visiting visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then, visit to Temple of Literature was built almost 1000 years ago, considered as the first university of Vietnam. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, visit the Museum of Ethnology, Hoan Kiem lake, Ngoc Son temple and enjoy a 1-hour cyclo tour around Old Quarters of Hanoi. Dinner at your self-expense. After dinner you will be transferred to the train station for departure to Sapa on the night train. Stay overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin.
Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van ( B / L / – )
Arrive at Lao Cai station at around 6:00am. Transfer from Lao Cai Station to Sapa. Enjoy breakfast and start trekking downhill to Y Linh Ho village in the Muong Hoa Valley. Stroll through rice paddies and small hamlets to witness the lifestyle of hill tribes in the area. Meet some local people in Lao Chai village. Continue roaming through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village, home of Dzay ethnic people. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way and continue on to the base of Sapa valley which is well known to be the most beautiful valley in the area. Head back to Sapa in the afternoon. Overnight at Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Cat Cat – Ta Phin – Ha Noi ( B / L / – )
Breakfast at hotel. Trekking to Cat Cat village, home of the Black H’Mong tribe. Enjoy a nice waterfall in Cat Cat village and beautiful scenery along the way. You will be taken by Jeep back to Sapa. Check out the hotel. Have lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, go by car to a village to visit a home of the Red Dao people, stroll around the village to explore the customs, daily life and weaving techniques of Red Dao people. Transfer to Lao Cai for an overnight train back to Ha Noi. Stay overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin
Day 5: Ha Noi – Ha Long ( B / L / D )
Arrive to Hanoi at around 5am. Pick up at the railway station and transfer to have breakfast at local restaurant. After breakfast depart for Ha Long Bay. Upon arrival Ha Long Bay, board the junk. Enjoy lunch onboard and cruise the natural wonders of Ha Long Bay, including Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave, Tuan Chau island, Dog island, Sail island and Ti Top Beach. Have dinner on the junk as you enjoy the sunset. Drinks and stay overnight on the junk. (Optional: Kayaking).
Day 6: Ha Long – Ha Noi – Hue ( B / L/- )
Have breakfast onboard, then visit Man’s Head island, Tortoise island, Toad island and Bai Tho mountain. Return to the junk for lunch. After lunch, head back to Ha Long wharf and depart for Hanoi. Transfer to Noi Bai airport to board evening flight to Hue. You will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Hue.
Day 7: Hue ( B / L / – )
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at the hotel for city trip. Enjoy a morning cruise on the Perfume River. Visit the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu pagoda and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, set in gardens and lakes. In the afternoon, visit Dong Ba market and the Imperial Citadel- the Royal Palace of the last Kingdom of Vietnam. Enjoy traditional music performance on the cruise on the Perfume River at night. Overnight at Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An ( B / L / – )
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Hoi An. Stop for photo opportunities and sightseeing at Hai Van pass, Lang Co beach and Marble mountain. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a trip around Hoi An town: visitJapanese Covered Bridge, a Pottery Museum, Old House of Tan Ky, theCantonese congregation, silk street of Hoi An and Danang-style temples and pagodas. Overnight at Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An ( B / L / – )
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to visit My Son Holy Land of Cham people, the World Heritage by UNESCO. Return to Hoi An. Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant, free time for leisure: go to the beach, go shopping or just relax. Overnight at Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City Tour ( B / L / – )
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Guide and car will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to hotel. Take a sightseeing tour to Reunification Palace, Notre Dame cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. Lunch at the local restaurant.
Continue to visit Thien Hau Temple. After visiting the Emperor Jade Pagoda and the War Remnants Museum, the trip will be ended with shopping time at Ben Thanh markets. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: HCMC – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi ( B / L / – )
After breakfast, transfer to visit The Great holy Temple of Cao Daism in Tay Ninh Province. On arrival, attend the fantastic mid-day temple service where followers fill the hall wearing colorful robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Lunch at the local restaurant.
On the way back, visit Cu Chi Tunnels - an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war. Return to HCMC. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12 : Ho Chi Minh city – Cai Be – Can Tho ( B / L / D )
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and depart for Cai Be, Vinh Long province. Board a LE COCHINCHINE authentic Mekong sampan. Welcome aboard with a complimentary drink. Cruise down the river and explore the lively Cai Be floating market. Cruise through the intricate maze of waterways to visit handicraft villages, meet local people, observe the rural life. Upon arrival at Vinh Long island where we will set off on a walking or cycling sightseeing tour of Binh Hoa Phuoc islets.
Next the Le Cochinchine sampan sets sail to Can Tho via Cho Lach and Tra On. Disembark at Cho Lach village and take a pleasant a stroll or cycle along paths in the countryside and discover tropical fruit orchards and enjoy the local people’s activities. Visit a cottage industry, a local farm and sample seasonal fruits. Take a cruise along the Mekong River to Mang Thit whilst enjoying aperitifs and a magnificent sunset over the river. Dinner and stay overnight on board.
Day 13 : Tra On – Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh city ( B / L / – )
Wake to the sounds of the Mekong Delta coming to life at the start of another wonderful day. After breakfast, cruise along canals and visit Co Chien village to experience the lifestyle and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Take a leisure cruise up Hau Giang River and enjoy the amazing scenery. On arrival at Can Tho, explore Cai Rang floating market, one of the most bustling one in Mekong Delta where hundreds of small boats laden with fruit jostle for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. It is now time to disembark from the boat. The car will pick you up and transfer for lunch in a local restaurant. Return to HCMC with a stopover at the bonsai gardens in My Tho. Arrive back in HCMC late afternoon. Check in and stay overnight at Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 14 : Ho Chi Minh City – departure ( B / L / – )
Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy free leisure time until your transfer to the airport for departure. Home sweet home.
