The 12-day Indochina specific tour takes you through two beautiful countries as Vietnam and Laos, with many fascinating destinations.

Traveling to Vietnam, you will visit all the most interesting sites in the Northern Vietnam including Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam with historic sites, Halong Bay – the UNESCO World natural heritage site &  Trang An (Ninh Binh) – considered as Halong Bay on land.

Laos, the country of millions elephants, is still very much undiscovered and after decades of isolation, tourists are able to experience Southeast Asia’s best-kept secret. Coming to Laos with this tour, you could explore the unique temple architecture of Luang Prabang and visiting the national buildings in Vientiane.

Day 1 Arrival
Arrive in Hanoi, Meet and greet upon arrival and transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Pick you up at hotel at 8h am, start to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his House, One Pillar pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc pagoda.
Afternoon, proceed to visit Temple of Literature, then 1-hour trishaw (cyclo) ride to visit the trading area in the Hanoi Old Quarter, stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to learn more about the legend of the lake and see Ngoc Son Temple. Stop at Thang Long theatre for Water puppet show.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel then transfer to to Halong Bay
Check in to Paradise Luxury cruise ship. Serve Special Paradise Lunch on board while cruising passing by islets, Hoa Cuong fishing village. After lunch continues exploration of Halong Bay passing by Soi Sim Beach, Coconut Three Island. Anchoring the vessels at Luon Cave area.
The Vessels will continuous cruising in Lan Ha Bay and Halong bay passing by Cua Van floating Village, Tien Ong Cave, Trong Cave, Ho dong Tien, Luon cave, Ti Top Island and Coconut Three Island for overnight stay.
Enjoy cooking demonstration with Chef to discover the Vietnamese cuisine of traditional spring rolls. Learn how to toast Vietnamese way through the evening’s toast of the local rice wine
Enjoy elegant Paradise dinner. Start dinner in Traditional Bao Dai dress and photo shoot with captain and manager on board.

Day 4 Ha Long Bay – Ninh Binh (B)
Breakfast on board.
Discover Sung Sot Cave or Titop Island.
Disembark, pick up and transfer to resort in Ninh Binh. The resort sits on the edge of the Van Long Nature Reserve – a primeval tropical forest. Styled with traditional Vietnamese elements in architecture and furnishings, wedded to cutting edge enhancements and guest comforts. Time at leisure to enjoy the peaceful Vietnam countryside scenery.

Day 5 Ninh Binh – Sightseeing Tour (B)

Explore the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
Morning, take an amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes which is a gathering of 31 valleys, 50 cross-water caves, and home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them in the Red Book of Vietnam. While rowing through Trang An grotto in the quiet, fresh air of the highlands, with only the sound of birds and the oars stirring the clear water and surrounded by magnificent forested mountains upon which graze white goats, visitors enjoy a heaven on earth.
Afternoon, visit 2 temples have been built on the ground of the old royal palace, to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.

Day 6 Ninh Binh – Hanoi (B)
Breakfast at hotel
Free time at leisure until check out. Transfer back Hanoi.

Day 7 Hanoi – Vientiane by flight (B)
Breakfast at hotel
Pick up and transfer to Noi Bai airport to take flight to Vientiane
On arrival in Vientiane Capital – A charming and fascinating capital, with an interesting mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences
You will be met and transferred to hotel

Day 8 Vientiane City Tour (B)
Breakfast at hotel
Take a day to explore Vientiane capital by visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. . Enroute to Lao’s national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
Continue visiting the rest of Vientiane by foot, including Wat Ong Tue, Wat Inpeng and Wat Haisok. Pass by the major shopping area continuing to the Vientiane Central Market of Talad Sao and Talad Kouadin where various goods are displayed for sale; including fresh food, household goods, souvenirs, textiles, gold, silver and antiques. Return to the Mekong Riverside in the late afternoon for observing the sunset.

Day 9 Vientiane – Xiengkhouang by flight (B)

Take filght Vientiane – Xiengkhouang.
Upon arrival, we transfer out to visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are littered all over the plateau. We also have time, this late afternoon seeing the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hilltribe and Tai Dam people. They have an interesting local culture and a colourful history.

Day 10 Xiengkhouang – Luang Prabang (B)
Breakfast at hotel
Early morning, visit the Central Market of Phonsavanh to watch the different hill tribe people barter and exchange merchandises. We then head out towards Luang Prabang. En-route we stop off to see the Buddha images in Thampra, a site more than 200 years old, and various Hmong and hill tribe minority villages along the way. After a photo stop, we continue driving uphill, enjoying the splendid natural scenery of the mountains, the forest and landscape. The journey will take us over mountainous regions until we approach Luang Prabang, one of the most beautiful traditional towns in Asia.

Day 11 Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – City Tour (B)

After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum (closed on Tuesday), which hosts a range of interesting artifacts and enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Laotian architecture. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. En route, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local speciality of rice wine is produced. Once back in Luang Prabang city we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village well known for its hand weaving. We also have time to visit Ban Xangkhong, Ban Xienglek, small villages well known for silk weavings and for Saa (jute) Papermaking

Day 12 Depart Luang Prabang for your flight home. (B)
