Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City and arrival (D)

Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport. The guide and car will pick you up and transfer to hotel. Enjoy a dinner cruise on the Saigon River. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B / L /-)

Breakfast at hotel. Depart to visit Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975. Photo-stop at some classic French colonial structures as Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. Visit Emperor Jade Pagoda and War Remnants Museum. Lunch at the local restaurant.

In the afternoon, drive to Cu Chi to visit the legendary tunnels. Then, we are back to city for a visit to Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city – Cai Be floating markets ( B / L /- )

Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Mekong delta tour – Cai Be floating market. On arrival Cai Be, set off by motor boat to visit the Cai Be floating markets and watch locals trading fruit and many other commodities on board their vessels. Then wander into small villages to visit an orchard and fruit plantation. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta.

Enjoy a lunch with Mekong Delta specialties accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town, where you can immerse yourself in nature. The driver pick you up in Vinh Long. Return to HCMC. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh city – Ha Noi ( B /- / D )

Breakfast at hotel. Check out and transfer to domestic airport for the flight to Hanoi. On arrival Hanoi, The local guide and car pick you up and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and enjoy riding in a cyclo for 1 hour in the Old Quarters of Hanoi. Enjoy a water puppet show in the evening. Enjoy dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Ha Noi city.

Day 5: Ha Noi – Ha Long ( B / L / D )

Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Ha Long Bay. Board the Junk and enjoy a welcome drink, check in to your cabin. Enjoy a seafood lunch served on board. Cruise around the bay and enjoy the beautiful views of the world natural heritage listed bay with limestone cliffs growing up from the green tranquil waters, see Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot Cave the nicest cave on the bay, visit Ti Top island, walk up the hill to enjoy the panorama views of the bay, relax on the beach. Have dinner and relax on the quiet and tranquil bay. You sleep anchored in the bay, rocked by the gentle ocean waves. (Optional: Kayaking)

Day 6: Ha Long – Ha Noi ( B / L/- )
Wake up early and watch the sunrise on the bay. Have breakfast on the junk. Cruise some more to explore the bay including Man Head Island, Tortoise Island, take a light rowing boat trip to discover Luon Cave, enjoy the impressive views of Bai Tu Long Bay, Bai Tho Mountain, and the city view. Have lunch on board while cruising back to the dock. Disembark at Halong Tourist Wharf for the return trip to Hanoi. Return to Hanoi. Overnight in Ha Noi city.

Day 7: Ha Noi – departure ( B/ – / -)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university and almost 1000 years old. Free leisure time until you transfer to the airport for your departure. Home sweet home.
